Hola! I'm Gloria, affectionately known as Ms. Gigi in the classroom. I am a native of Rochester, Ny, and the proud mother of One. I have been working with the children in our community for over ten years. Creating a loving, fun and secure space for the little ones has always been my top priority. My favorite activity is arts and crafts and creative thinking activities. We have also started to incorporate bilingual lessons during our class time and the littles have been quickly picking up Spanish! My heart fills with pride to see the children's progress and I feel lucky to be part of their milestones.I'm excited to continue this journey as a teacher at 123 Grow, where every day brings new opportunities to foster growth and learning. Hello, wonderful families! I'm Melissa Douglas, a proud mother of my amazing 7-year-old son, and the passionate provider at 123 Grow Daycare right here in Rochester, NY. I have worked with the children in our community for over 10 years, covering various capacities such as group home settings, Cdpap care, babysitting, and even the enchanting world of beauty pageants. Before immersing myself in this rewarding role, I obtained my degree in Criminal Justice Administration, and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Teaching children is where I belong; I love offering hands-on experience that fosters their joy, education, and happiness. As a provider, my favorite part is becoming acquainted with all the unique personalities under my care and, of course, learning from them. I find fulfillment in being a safe haven for children, someone they can look up to with confidence. In crafting a supportive and engaging learning environment for the children, I follow a child-centric philosophy, letting them lead the way while gently correcting when needed. My diverse background and medical expertise make me a distinctive provider, offering a unique approach to the program.
